Marie Schreiber takes the win at the Nacht van Woerden, Women Elite

Marie Schreiber wins the Women Elite event of the Nacht van Woerden, a lap-based cyclocross race held in Woerden (NL) on 20 October 2026. The Luxembourg rider of TEAM SD WORX - PROTIME completes the laps in 43:51 and puts 16 seconds into Aniek Van Alphen, second at the finish. For the 23-year-old, this race is her fifth seasonal appearance in the Women Elite cyclocross with four victories and five podiums in the balance so far. The run-up spoke clearly: first place at Berencross on 17 October, second place at Kermiscross on 15 October and first place at Kleeberg Cross on 27 September. A string of results that brings her to Woerden in the right condition to impose herself on this occasion too. Behind her, the podium is completed by two Dutch athletes. Aniek Van Alphen (FENIX-PREMIER TECH), 27, finishes at +0:16: for her three seasonal appearances with this race, no victories and two podiums, coming from second place at Berencross on 17 October and fourth place at Dendermonde on 11 October. Third at +0:32 is Lucinda Brand (LIDL - TREK), 37, who in this cyclocross season counts four appearances with two victories and four podiums: third at Berencross on 17 October, first at Kermiscross on 15 October and first at Dendermonde on 11 October. Completing the top five of the finishing order are Inge Van Der Heijden (NL) at +0:39 and Kristýna Zemanová (CZ) at +0:50. They are followed by Rebecca Gariboldi (IT) at +1:03, Anniek Mos (NL) at +1:20, Lucia Bramati (IT) at +1:31, Mae Cabaca (NL) at +1:39 and Isis Versluis (NL) at +1:49. At the start of the event there were 55 riders in the classification. On the road — Lucinda Brand, third at Woerden, has also collected road results over the last twelve months: second place at the GP Lucien Van Impe on 20 August 2026, ninth place at the Egmont Cycling Race Women on 18 August 2026 and tenth place at the Paris-Roubaix Femmes Hauts-de-France on 12 April 2026.
